Default no heat at all

had to get the old girl out and take her on a few deliveries this week. She had been sitting for about 4 weeks before this. Everything works as far as the climate control mech, fans, etc., but there is no heat. Any ideas? :?

It could be your heater core?

Check you coolant level. If there isn't enough coolant to circulate through the heater core, it won't heat up correctly. Or it has been parked outside, the air intakes could be blocked or debris (leaves, pine needles, rat'* nest) could have gotten into the ductwork and clogged the airflow across the heater core. Easiest way to check for that is to pull the fan.

You also might check if there is a leak in the hose going to your heater core, is your car heating up to proper opertaing temp?

assuming the above comments are accurate to what is going on, its possible the airmix door actuator failed if it was a sudden failure..I'll have to check with my 89 FSM to see if the system works the same as the 92+ bonnevilles.

first things first. Is your temp gauge reaching the first line and the heater hoses to the core warm?

Have you taken any steps to diagnose this yet?
