They mistakenly took out the 90-91 type...I said sorry friend, I need the black and red big a$$ lights. I was in luck. He even gave me tips on cleaning it so it would look like new
1. Wet rag to get the dust off
2. Vegetable oil to clean off any residue and other debris.
3. Regular wax (not buffing wax) to restore the original factory gloss...
Sweet!

I have seen the de-lamination of the taillights on the SSE. Sometimes it looks pretty rough. It seems like the lamination really begins to deteriorate after 8 years or so. I have yet to see that problem on the LE/SE'* tho. I believe you tho. The problem is, I never see to many SE/LE on the road nowaday, and if I do, they are in sorry condition.
It seems only the SSE make it to the 15 year mark. Have you seen if the 88-89 lights would work on yours? Give it that "classic" look...

had and am having the same problem. my 90 LE did that, psd me off bigtime. my 91 SSE is doing that, and it cracked in the process. Did pontiac not know what they were doing then, i havnt seen a SE/LE/SSE from 90-91 that wasnt delaminated. i wanted the older taillights on mine when i had it. now i am glad to have the ones i have on my SSE. Did yall see my car? Click on my sig to view.
