I have no pictures with pointers, but I believe that it'* integrated into your intake manifold. My guess would be on the non-TB side.

Well, what happened to me over the summer: part of the valve assembly disintegrated upon removed and a piece fell into the intake, where it was mounted.

A manifold pull (and subsquent gasket change) later, a small marble-sized chunk was pulled from an intake port in the head.

i didnt have to, just got a pair of those locking pliers and pulled like hell, the trick is getting it back on and the tube connected properly, theres absolutely no room in that area

p.*. it helps to use a bit of petroleum jelly on the outside of the pcv valve so it can slip in easier. did wonders for me

ok, now I might be blind but I can't find the PCV valve anywhere on the engine. I looked everywhere on the engine including taking off the alternator. Is there any '89 SSE owners out there that can tell me what side of the engine it'* on? The only place I never got a good look at is the firewall side do to being a real pain to work/look back there.
