stupid question but dose anyone know what is the fireing cycle for my car , i took off the wires and now i dont know how they go back , i found this but i dont know if its right 165432 and 142536 but even if i know the cycle how would i know how to put the wires back on.......

Standing in front & looking at engine.
#1 front left cyl.
#2 rear left cyl.
#3 front middle cyl.
#4 rear miiddle cyl.
#5 front right cyl.
#6 rear right cyl.

2 4 6 - rear
1 3 5 - front

Coils are numbered. Is this what you needed?

You must have the type one Magnavox ignition?

Coilpack looks squary and boxy. Do yourself a favour, and go to the junkyard, and get a type 2 igniton system.. Its a delco, and can be found on ANY 3800 92-95.

Much better ignition system. Starts better and better throttle response in higher RPM.

Yeah, Magnavox coils aren't numbered.

JR is right- they are numbered. the numbers are so small that they get easily covered with grease and dirt. they are written on the sides of the coil pack.
