I think more of just a general suspension, visual check is in order. Do both sides match? IE left-rear, right-rear, left-front, right-rear? Is it possible that the brakes are acting up? I may still be a little confused about the problem... so my advice is a little 'out there' --not to mention I am no suspension expert.

I have the same issue....bad......But I'm thinking since the tires are junk that maybe part of the reason....But mine feels kinda like dead spots and then the car will shift over and cornere.......damnedest thing.......

I've noticed that type of feeling with snow tires fitted to the rear or really cheesy winter tires. They seem to resist deflection from cornering then give way all at once causing instant oversteer. Rear end links or some other rear suspension/bearing could cause a similar feeling. You could have a rear bearing loose possibly. I saw a trailer being towed through town a while ago and at low speed the tire/wheel would wobble like crazy and almost lay right down as it came to a stop. As soon as the trailer picked up speed the wheel would straighten up and appear to track normally. I couldn't believe the guy towing it didn't notice anything awry.

Inner Tie rod problems maybe?? Look at the 2000 Buick Century recalls and you will find they have issues with unwanted steering input from a loose inner tie rod. I am dealing with that problem now on our 2000 Century.

Have now noticed difference in driveway at full right lock. In revese when start to move steering wheel suddenly turns about 10 degrees more and moves back when go forward. Something is definately moving on the drivers side but every thing seems tight when jacked up.

Maybe you found your problem. "Everything looks fine when jacked up"

Try doing it when the car is on the ground. Get under there.. if not, take a picture of it.

Default steering

Sounds like it could be a bad tire belt, tie rod, ball joint or steering rack mount.
The upper strut bearing could be bad allso. Try lubing it.
Keep using the process of elimination to narrow it down.
