Lurch
90 SE with a strange issue: on moderate (35-45 mph) right turns (does not happen on left turns) the car will suddenly lurch into a new posture. To me it feels like the tail is hanging out a bit but wife insists the front is tucking in. Car has about 130k miles so could be something in the front suspension but what ? Everthing feels good and I see no signs of movement. Both strut mounts/bearings have been replaced but all else is original.

True Car Nut
cv joint?
i kinda got confused by your description. does it seem like the car suddenly turns better?
wheel bearings arent out of the question either.

Feels like the tail gets loose just a tad. Picture being in a moderate right hand turn at about 40 mph and suddenly turning the steering wheel another 30 degrees except you didn't. Doesn't seem to happen at lower speeds.
Really doubt that it is a wheel bearing, have replaced both sides and both began whining first. Just checked hub nut and is tightened to spec.

Yours sounds much more severe. Ours is stable in straight line up to 70 mph and really exhibits only on moderate right turns and then is more of a slight lurch than anything else, just like a bit more steering was dialed in.. Do know that passenger CV could probably stand replacement (clicking under mild accelleration at full steering lock only) but in this case the load would be on the driver'* side.
Has been going on for about six months withough change (posted once before about it but thought was in back end then

Padgett have you looked at the Tie rods in the rear or possibly ball joints?
