I know I should just let this topic die,but I have 1 more question,my compass and DIC are popping in and out , when ever I push brake pedal they will flash or disappear or come in stronger like they are connected somehow,what would the brake have to do with this.Is it shorting out,and is there something you think I could check.I have taken out cluster twice to clean connections.After this I give in.

Crawl up under the dash and look for stuff. Maybe something is moving and causing an issue. Maybe there is a ground that is being disturbed.
