Default Intermittant EGR failure HELP??

1988 Vin C 243XXX miles

I get the EGR codes 63, 64,65 after I go over the crest of a hill, at the same time that my converter unlocks. This is the only time I get these codes. I ran the test that the FSM called for on the EGR, results were fairly close to specs. I am thinking these codes are being produced by the lockup converter somehow. I recently cleaned the IAC.

Anybody got any clues??

For all 3 solonoids? I'd bet more on the ground. It won't be related to the TC unlocking at all. It'* strictly vacuum controlled on your year.

My suggestion is to clean the shafts and springs on the EGR and re-lube them with a temp-resistant lube. It can be done in place without removing it.
