I just did something like this for my nieces oldsmoble. the plastic nipple broke off so I files the remainder down flush to the box. next I bought a "t" vaccuum connector from parts store. cut one end off the "t" then used that end and drilled a hole into the box the same diameter of the new nipple be carefull to not drill in to deep just enough to break through the wall of your box, knock of the burs and dry fit the new into the hole to check fit, should be very snug, then use a two part epoxy and coat both surfaces, let dry/set up over night, then use a hose clamp on your vac line to make your connection, be carefull not to over tighten the hose clamp it is just to secure the line to the box. Next time I see my niece I will take pictures of what I did for reference.

Might want to replace that little check valve thats there while youre at it. Mine was leaking from the check valve and a hose in that area, and my a/c didnt work. Pep Boys or autozone have the parts in stock usually, in the help section.
