The DIC center in our cars, are they really that smart or not? I thought it was more like a novel ideal for the cars as far as the newer ones goes BUT, the weird thing is my oil change and oil filter change miles both matched perfect till just the other day now the oil change is reading 1300 and the oil filters showing 600 miles! I for some reason didn’t think it monitored the items and just ran off the miles. So which is it the miles or it’* really smart and does do the monitoring of the items?

Its not that smart. It only knows what you put into it or if a circuit trips a switch.

So I would guess that I should be expecting mine to die soon or something weird as for the change in miles. Oh well who knows I guess we will wait and see what it does next!

could have just been a fluke, i remember once when i changed my oil it reset itself, went in the car and it said 3k i was sittin there like
