Not trying to hijack the post but, on mine it does not CLICK anymore, just the normal movement is there.

don't know how hall0n'* (the original poster'*) switch acts in this respect.

it does, or at least it should. check your fuses <esp one labeled flash to pass> and start another thread on it if you would like to solve the problem.

my 87 never could 'flash' high beams by pushing it forward, i think he'* right on that one.

pretty sure mine is a bad high beam relay. I took it out but need a replacement Its not just a relay it comes in a whole little assembly.

Anyone know a part # for this? there are few stamped on the part but dont think GM parts direct recognizes them.
