I really hate the idea of puncturing a grommet or drilling holes. Is there another place I can run wires for the switch? I know someone has been down this road before

I usually find the wires that run through the firewall already ( close to the steering wheel) and I can "usually" squeeze one more in with them.

Ended up trying to gently push them thru the grommet that the shift cable runs thru. Grommet spilled out its hole, however the wires went thru the grommet and nothing is touching or near metal. My brother helped, we ty wrapped everything and ran the black split tubing all over the wires. Used a relay kit and bolted it near the battery, hooked up the main power at the buss on the firewall. Remote switch was put for now on the door panel till I can think something better and wired the switch power with a key on wire so the ignition switch has to be ON before the lights are on.

These things are freeking BRIGHT too! If I owned a camera, I would post pics but take my word!
