Any tips for changing coo;ant temp sensor,looks like IAC and TB are in the way.

Well, I just finished changing my sensor and the 3 fan relays in the front drivers side of the engine compartment, and my fans work now!

When you change it, just make sure that your car is cold, I did mine first thing in the morning, so nothing was even remotely warm. Its not that hard to change, as long as you have a 3/8" swivel drive, so you can maneuver in and around the gas lines and such...

Cyric...were you able to pinpoint the issue or just wholesale replaced all the parts that could be bad?

I had started with just trouble-shooting, replaced wiring that the previous owner had hacked together, and the previous ownder had said that it was the sensor that was gone, but I didn't beleave him as far as I could throw him.. once the wiring was up to par, I checked fuses and the such, and decided to replace the sensor anyways. I also decided to change the relays, in hopes that the ones that I had were good... as of right now, one might be bad, since I haven't seen the high speed fan (passenger side fan) come on, and I still have my old relays, so time will tell.. but I am assuming that he was right, that it was the sensor...

If someone can confirm a negative trigger on that relay you could trip it yourself to see if the relay is working. might be the car isn't gettting warm enough to trip it.
