Anyone who knows if it'* possible to change the ECC to start with Celsius instaed of Fahrenheight???

I'm under the impression that is you press the F/C button, it will retain that setting until you press it again. It might default back to F if you disconnect the battery though.

No it always starts in F mode. :(

I've heard that US/Canadian cars will default to F/C on startup, not much you can do aside from swapping in a Canadian unit?

Have heard that there is a way to put the ECC into a diagnostic mode but was never able to get mine to do that. May be an input to tell it to use Celcius on startup (mine also reverts to F on each ignition cycle).

OFF and UP FAN with key on ? Tried that and nothing happened.

Mine starts in celcius everytime, and has been a Canadian car since it'* production.

My car is Imported from CA, USA, and when I set it to Celsius it stays there, no problem at all...
