Have run 0-60 in 8.4 seconds (repeated) with a stock "C" 3800. The car is really deceptive because the torque curve is so flat - peak at 210 lb-ft at 2100 rpm and still making nearly 170 lb-ft at 5200.
The result is that there is no sensation of rising accelleration, it just goes faster.

"C" motors make max torque at 2000-2100 and run out of breath around 4700. Is why you can have a 1400 rpm/50 mph cruise. 5000 rpm is also a good way to throw cam magnets.

2 Questions...
1)What should my 91'* RPMs be at if I'm cruising at 100kph?
2)I run stock igntion control boxes, but I have high quality plugs and wires on both my cars.... should I consider upgrading the boxes... is it really worth it?
