Default DIC reporting Turn Signal Light Out

Hey all,

Yet another DIC issue....

I just had my car painted (pix to come soon), but the only issue is that they had to remove my taillights to paint the car, and when they put them back on, the DIC is now reporting that the rear left turn signal is out, which is isn't.

I replaced the blub anyways. I noticed that they had a two connector blub in, instead of a single. Might I have to unplug the battery to reset the DIC or something?

Does anyone know where the sensor (or which wire) it is that reports to the DIC?

Thanks

Did you hold the button down to reset the screen?? :? If yes I would unplug the batt for 15-20 min and it should be gone...

The DIC said "Check Light, Turn Signal", and displayed the rear left turn signal light.

The problem seems to have solved it'* self... last night I noticed that the "check light" wasn't being displayed anymore. I guess the gremlin moved onto something else. :?

That can be caused by bad contacts in the bulb base, bad wiring, an old bulb, an incorrect bulb, or a burned-out bulb.
