I was driving home today and my SES light came on.
I checked the code when I got home.... code 36.

Anyone know what code 36 is :?:

I don't have a listing, but I do have the code lookup on my scantool. Gimme a bit, and I'll plug it in and get it.

sounds all too familiar.... damn... I was hoping to get to Oct without any tranny repairs...

I also read that code 36 could be 3 different things, maf, transacxle and something else... anyone else read this? (found it in a book I have)

Trofd, my scantool doesn't recognize that code for an 87 Toronado or Trofeo. Are you sure about it?

The codes I believe are in the BCM. It states Electrical Problem and Digs uncontrolably when I open the door, it stops digging when I start up and shift the car into from park into anything. then it doesnt do it again...

*which would be ok... but It'* anoyying and my friend mite be buying the car so he knows where I live if I scam him.. lol...

I'll look into this again. SEe if I can track it down with my scantool.
