If there is no spark, Isnt that Coil related?
Make sure there is also fuel in the system, could be a fuel pump gone to u know what?
Check your battery connections they sometimes get loose, my car has this problem the electrical works but u try to start and it just clicks ... its a loose connection on my battery starts up fine once u adjust it.. just ogtta tighten it.. but I dunno man just giving off some suggestions. sorry

crank sensor? if the cam sensor was out, the car would then fire off of the crank sensor. when my crank sensor died, didnt get any spark either, or codes thrown. you get any codes out of it?

btw, did it die at a stoplight, going over a speedbump, landing a jump, just driving down a normal road, going over a pothole, accidently driving off the roof of the parking garage, when?

When you turn the ignition on, does the SES light come on? And stay on until the car starts [since your'* won't start, it would never go off].

Cam Sensor: Not required to run. Throws code, default timing used.

Crank Sensor: Required to run. Doesn't throw code, seldom starts.

When an engine dies right after you replaced the ignition, that is the place to look.

Could be "infant mortality" (though all three coils are unlikely to go at once.

More likely the ignition module harness was not tightened enough or seated properly and a few miles driving vibrated a bad connection enough to fail. First try R&R ing the module harness checking the wires to make sure none broke then reattach. It should slide on easily with finger pressure and you should be able to spin the nut most of the way with your fingers. If not, some cleaning might be a good idea.

It also seems to me that the harness fits a bit loose on the pins. Haven't tried crimpong the sockets in a harness a bit yet but might be an idea.

This is where it is nice to have a spare module/coil assembly in the shop just for troubleshooting, is why I finally built a break-out box to verify the signals.

Just for *&G does the tach wiggle when you crank it ?

i was under the assumption that he replaced those in an effort to get the car going again. right?
