Advice on fixing rattles?
I know this car has a solid platform, but it dosent sound like it. When I go over bumps or hit a pot hole it sounds like the doors are jumping up and down(even tho I know there not) and the dash dosent sound to happy about it either.
So how should I go about fixing this? Am I wasteing my time trying to make a 20 year old car quiet? I sure hope not.

Over time bolts and screws start to loosen up. You can start by tightening what ever you find that might be loose. Look for worn parts and replace if possible. Check over bushings. Replacing these can make a big difference.

So I guess im gonna start with the doors and tighten everything up, is there anything special I need to get the door panel'* off?
The woodgrain on the dash has a steady rattle, and when I push on it it goes away. So im gonna put some shims or something in the gap to tighten it up.
Im gonna pick up some foam tape too and see where that could be used.
thanks guys
