5 engine codes pulled...
Hello everybody!
Yesterday I was able to pull the engine codes from my '90 Bonne while working on her in my uncle'* nice warm dry garage.. well, here they are...
22, 26, 27, 29, 39... Could these all be related to someone funking around with electrical under the dash? If so, then I'm not so worried, but if not, well, then the worry levels will rise a bit more...

Yeah, I know what the codes mean, I'm just wondering if it could all be related to bad electrical 'repairs' by someone who didn't know what the heck he was doing... I bought the car with all these issues, including non-working rad fans, along with really bad wiring where he tried to wire the fans directly to power so they would run when the car ran, instead of replacing a single sensor (which is slightly below and behind the throttle body, right?) and in the process frying half the socket in the fuse box... so alot of the wiring under the hood has been replaced with wiring from another 90 sse...

What I am saying is that the previous owner had messed with the wiring quite a bit on this car, and I was thinking that the codes that were pulled could be something to do with what he had messed with, since the tranny feels fine.. shift into 2nd isn't bad, nor is fourth, and the tcc does kick in, as I can just barely feel it, see it on my tach, and hear it through my exhaust as the rpm comes down slightly...

Well, here'* an update.. I managed to get rid of 3 codes... Code 22, Code 29, and code 39.. But, I have a new code in the list... Code 23, Manifold Air Temperature - Low Temp... and I still have Code 26, and 27... I haven't checked into code 23 yet, but I should be able to get to that this weekend some time.. I'm still puzzled about the QDM and 2nd gear switch codes though...
