Default Bell ringing

On my 89 Bonnie,the little bell rings six or eight times whenever I first start up.Idid a scan and the only code was a 19.

Over the course of my lifetime, I've had my bell rung 6 or 8 times....apparently I don't remember the 7th time....

By bell, do you mean the sound like when you open the door while leaving the key in the ignition?

Yes..The one that rings when the gas is low...I would unhook it if I could find it.

Well ding is better than a car that speaks..like door open!
I remember once renting a car like this cant remember what is was now..all I wanted to know was where the fuse was to turn it off!
Code dtc 19 is not really listed for 3.8 -89. When I google 19 I find -Crank Pos Sensor..??

Couple more what?

I've heard of an issue like this once with the older models. Something to do with low voltage in the system. IE, bad battery connection/bad battery. I know its just a hunch, but well worth the troubleshooting because it costs nothing.

You must have got it right..I messed with the battery cables and some more wires and the bell has not rang since.
