1989 SSE blower fan problem
Okay I just bought a used '89 SSE with over 200,000 miles on it. Car still runs good but has a lot of small problems with it. The first one is when I turn the key off the heater blower/A/c fan keeps running and doesnt shut-off? I found the relay for the blower thinking it was it and pulled it but the fan kept going. Any thoughts.
Also if anyone knows where to get some cheap door weather stripping for this car let me know.
Willl have more questions as I go through it. thanks

That actually sounds more like a Blower Control Module failure... They either fail as in no blower.... Or the Blower continues to run after the car has been shut off...

The Blower Control module will be on the top of the blower box under the hood.... Follow the wires from the blower and it should take you to the Blower Control Module iirc.. There are only a few screws holding it in place..

Does this picture help. The eend of the socket extension is touching the module. Take out the screws and it comes right out.
OOPS.
I just noticed this is a little late. I see your original post was back in April. Sorry I don't frequent this site enough.
