My bonneville just rolled over 230,000 miles. It is a 1990 SE, and had the same problem for the last 20,000 miles or more. Gets to the 9 and then sticks. ONly a swift hit on the dashboard would jar it loose, but only for a few miles or so. My transmission also just quit on me, so it looks like the car is now junk, even though the rest of it is in perfectly good condition.

How much is the tranny going to cost to fix? if the car is still in good shape, I'd fix it. Something about the 87-91'*...they must live on

Don, I read his other thread...sounds to me like his prob is far beyond the trans...doesn't sound like its worth it...unless we can start convincing him somhow
