Well, 18 days and still no title. But I sent a text to the seller and he believes the title will be in tomorrow (Thursday). He'* going to get it notarized on base and send it express mail. So I may have it by Friday or Saturday. Everyone, I need your help. Everyone, cross everything you have, fingers, legs, eyes, anything that will give me some luck so I get it by Saturday. Good thing that I learned patience after all these years. Living this long at least gave me that much, LOL. Now watch, I'll get the darn thing in the mail Saturday, and I'll drop over from a heart attack. HA!

Well everyone. 2/27/14 I finally got the G8 GT titled, insured, licensed and it is now on the road. WHOOOHOOO!!!! 26 days from date of purchase. How'* that for the fast wheels of progress? LOL! Car is really nice. Good power, handles like stink (that'* good by the way) and looks good. I always liked the style/look of my silver 2002 SSEi and the handling was OK for what it was. Slightly under powered but the biggy was my dislike for front wheel drive. If I thought I could get it emission legal I would find me a good non running example and do a full chassis conversion to rear wheel drive. Then drop a good LS variant into it. I think it would really make it a great looking Pontiac. But for the time being, I have a great substitute. And unlimited upgradability. If I can ever get my other car to a point that I can invest a little in the G8. I know I can have a killer daily driver.

Thanks Art. Actually I was saying to modify an SSEi to RWD and use an LS variant. My mind never stops looking at cars in different ways. I'd be so dangerous if I had money, LOL!!!
My grave stone is going to read---"He could never leave anything stock"---.
At the time that we moved form WI down to AZ I was even about to drop a real Pontiac motor into a really nice '89 Turbo Supra. I had a stock (for mock up) Pontiac 400 short block already setting in the engine bay. But never got any farther after dragging it all the way down here. Ended up trading the Supra and a '40 Olds coupe (was to be a Gasser) for the '63 when I found it. I almost enjoy building the cars as much as driving them.

Good luck with the G8 , I want one and the front end is nicer than the new SS which I looked at but, they don't even sell it in blue or green. (well a real green anyway)
