Default Turn Signal

LH turn signal will not blink. The bulbs (front & rear) light up and test good on the multi-meter. RH works fine. 1991 Pontiac Sunbird LE.

Replace the blinker mechanism inside the steering column.

You will need some specific tools:
Snap ring pliers
Steering wheel puller
Steering lock spring compressor.

I believe a '91 will have a driver'* side only air bag, although I've never had to pull a steering wheel on an air-bag equipped vehicle, I believe the air-bag system will need to be disabled first before pulling the steering wheel, no?
