The 4T65-E HD is smooth. Very unlike the 4T60 which has a harsh WOT 1-2nd upshift. I can't even tell the WOT 1-2nd upshift in the LSS. And yes, it does seem to shift kinda slow. I thought that was a problem but now that i'm reading this it seems to be a torque management type thing, eh? Shifting is actually smoother the harder I am on the gas strangly enough.

uhhh line pressure is what ive read and been told. by not givin her so much the line pressure is low causing a smooth shift.. get on it and the line pressure goes way up causing a harder shift... tranny shops will actually increase the line pressure for you so it shifts harder.. that is what TSI in MN here does at least.. i think hte tq thing is just on the higher end cars.. ok ill stop repeating myself

What I am saying is that when I get on it more it will shift SMOOTHER not harsher. And I think all 4T65-E HD trannies have torque management. Which makes sense since the ser 2 L67 puts out over 300 ftlbs in stock form.
