IAC module
Where can I find my IAC? I want to see if thats whats causing my intake to hiss so much at startup. It will probably make me idle rough, but I will sleep better at night knowing thats the cause.

the IAC is in the TB. One connector is your MAF (black square), another is your TPS (below the throttle plate shaft), the other is the round thingy.....that'* your IAC.

You can't do anything about the hiss on the IAC. If you seal it off or whatever, you're going to have a car that won't idle smoothly if at all!
The IAC is the device that lets air into the engine, while the throttle is fully closed, to mainatin combustion.

my theory is that if the idle stop screw was set high enough then it might compensate for the IAC. Its just a theory that I will try out and report back.
I think I will end up with a rough idle too, but there is only one way to find out...
