exhaust ?
ok her eis the thing I love how loud my exhaust is but when you get into the upper rpms it gets reaal ricey with out the resonator on it. this is really a 2 part question. If I were to take and put a 3inch DP on I know I would lose some of my bottom end but if I added http://www.flopro.com/Twister.htm part #41255 as the resonator I would lose the pop and rice sound but since it is smaller it would still be louder. It would also add just enough backpressure to account for the 3 in dp. I am hoping to get a buddy to mock up a custom 3 into 2.5 DP but if it doesn't work I think the 3 in is the only choice I hhave found and it is from hogan

It is not a loss of back pressure that hurts the low end but, a loss of flow velocity. Adding a restriction elsewhere in the system will not recover the lost velocity.

A 3" DP is definitely too big for almost any n/a L36. The engine simply isn't flowing enough to keep good velocity through a 3" pipe.
The highest n/a dyno to date has headers with a 2.5" outlet.

Maybe you can talk to Hogan. TommyGloves worked with them and they fabbed the 3" at that time TMK.
I had PEM'* on my L67 with 3.4 pulley. Went to the 3" DP and noticed some loss of low end. Not sure that 3" would be anything but a detriment to you.

It looks like I might have to pull my strings at WYOTech and see if I can get one fabbed up. If I were to get one fabbed up would any other member be interested in a 3 into 2.5 DP for the series 2 if I can help anyone and help my buddies get a good grade in class everyone wins

Wbody store just made a 3" downpipe available for the the H body as well, what may be of some interest to you is that they also have made a 2.5" downpipe for the N/A GP crowd so maybe inquire with them whether or not they have any plans to make any H-body DP'* in 2.5" as well. I think they would sell pretty good with the amount of people here that have SE'* orSLE'* and are interested in them

looks like the same muffler, mine did NOT change the tone at all, but it did lower the overall volume (how loud it was).
