Header questions
All right guys....I just talked to Todd this morning about which order to do things in, and was thinking of waiting on the headers till this summer...... but the Intense sale might be just enough to get me to change the order I do things in. (And keeping me on a roll of placing a order with them every weekend.)
The site says that a 2000 bonneville *might* require modifications....will I need to modify them? If so what specifically?
If I get these, with the SLP High Flow cat, will this clamp right the the stock exhaust, (After cutting it at the correct location), or will I be required to get it welded at a muffler shop?
SLP High flow Cat comparible to a Magnaflow? (It looks like it includes a rear O2 simulator, which I would require, since I don't have a PCM with rear O2 delete yet...Todd can you confirm?)
Is it recommend to get the ARP Bolt kit as well?
Sorry about all the questions, but want to know exactly what I'm getting myself into.

you will need to get a Wbody dipsick or bend yours.....the latter is not recommended
your stock exhaust studs will be fine, no need to get the ARP unless you want to spend money

SLP'* need to be welded in.
I dont see anywhere where it says it comes with the rear o2 spoof. As far as I know, those are now illegal to sell.
I have been running the coated Pacesetters for 6 months/10k miles with no problems. They are a lot cheaper and less installation work.

Couple more questions;
1) So the dipstick tube should be changed. Do I reuse my dipstick, or do I need to replace it as well? (part numbers?)
2) If I go the pacesetter route, it bolts right to the existing exhaust? Upstream or downstream of the CAT? What do I do for a cat (replacement) to keep this a 'no weld' solution?
3) Haro, your only a little south of me...feel like helping to install another set? (I'll come to you, and supply beer!)
Side note: I'm struggling if this is a 2000-2005 or performance type thread. If I picked wrong, I apologize and ask to have it moved.

Was that a early problem that has been resolved? I need something that will easily last for a decade, as I plan on driving this thing forever, and hate doing things twice. (And don't wan't to assume that SLP or Pacesetter will be easily found 5 years from now)

Not sure exactly where you are at, but if you want to see what the TOG'* look like, I have a ceramic coated set that I have not yet installed. I am in the East side of St Paul.
If your curious.
I don't think there are any sets left from the original manufacturer that are new. You probably would have to buy used. Be careful of TOG copies called "TOG like" though. I have heard that they are not as good as the originals. Mine were 9 months old (used) and I paid $500.
