97 thru ?
Hey guys
i'm working at an autoparts company, we check odbII codes every day
my 97 olds 88, like all other gm cars of the day, abs light has activated
it started randomly, then just stays on now days, scanner shows " no communication " where the abs computer has died
so what has actually happen to all these cars ,, , something burn out on pcb abs board?
all wires and fuses are good
thanks

Well, you have 2 choices, use a GM Tech2 to see if the module indeed is still working or if the data line is bad or just swap the module and see what happens.

techII... I had a garage hook up, still "no communication"
even our ODBII scanner will produce same
there is a common problem here... I am guessing the board

If you can't communicate with a module, you disconnect the harness to it, check for power and ground, and that you are getting fluctuating data on the data line......if ok, replace the module.....
