man, this car rocks! chugged around a 2000 pound auto transport today, and didnt slow it down that much

i also must note that the tempo only weighs 2300 pounds, and is pulling stuff of this magnitude, with a bad cat converter <very bad>

Most eco cars are only rated to tow 500lbs.

most economy cars dont carry the torque the tempo does either

Haha.. but in all seriousness. Engine power/ tourque is only a small part of towing capibilities. The biggest part is the vehicles frame and suspention. A 94-96 Impala SS has the same engine as a Chevy Silverado. The Impalla is rated to tow 2000lbs were a top 2500 Siv can tow 9600lbs with the same exact engine. I have no doubt that a L67 swapped into a truck with RWD could EASILY handle a hefty 6000lb. trailer.
