Kinda fitting actually, from what I've heard this is the most deadly section of highway in Canada.

Well i think that highway 17 and highway 7 are the deadliest in Ontario..

Highway 401 was the scene of Canada'* largest pile up
Carnage Alley

The section of Highway 401 between Windsor and London has become known as "Carnage Alley", particularly since 1988, when a long string of particularly violent and deadly accidents occurred in this section. These accidents have occurred because of the road'* narrow lanes and very narrow grass median, which has proven to be insufficient in preventing cross-directional collisions.

Highway 401 has also been the site of Canada'* deadliest automobile pile-up: an 87-vehicle pile-up just east of the Manning Road interchange and truck inspection center. In response, the freeway is being given a massive upgrade. For more on this, read below.

You've got the wrong area. And it has nothing to do with traffic deaths, it has everything to do with the route taken when dead soldiers are returned to CFB Trenton and driven to Toronto for autopsy
