IF you're over half the credit limit on the card, it'* actually going to hurt your credit.

I owe about 25% on my house but all my cars are paid off which is quite an accomplishment being the type of cars. I about $2100.00 in credit card debts. Since moving to DE I am on an extremely low income and now with my fiance leaving me I make just enough to cover my bills but that leaves nothing to save.

Dont be in a rush for it to jump. My lowest card limit is $7500.00 and highest is $15,000 and all that does is get you into trouble. I miss the days of having $250.00 limit on my cards.

I owe about 2500 on the bonneville, but I am buying it from the parents so its all good. Colleges is paid for by scholarships,

And i have three jobs (well two part time jobs and coaching) so I am doing okay for now

I've heard conflicting stories on that. My wife and I put EVERYTHING on credit card, then pay it off when the bill hits the mailbox. We have only one credit card and it'* typically near the max every month (but paid off consistently....and has been for YEARS).

Our credit scores are in the very high 700s.

Bonneville is paid for, van has $12,000 to go, thinking about writing a check near the end of the year

Once that debt is gone, it'* just the mortgage. I've got to a point in my life where I've decided that I am going to just pay cash for cars for now on! So, Godwilling, the mortgage will be the only debt I have from here on out. And my plan is to own my house outright before the age of 40 (35 if things go really well).
