Just found a ...
1998 Buick Park Avenue Ultra with 140k. Sandstone in color with factory chromies. Only options it doesn't have are HUD and On*. Asking price is $3900 and over the phone they told me $3600 so I'm thinking if I walk up with $3500 (given the car is in road-worthy condition) it'* mine.
Looking at going on Friday night, but would need Gordy to trade his expertise (a.k.a. code scanner) in trade for the Lumbar seats -fair trade Gordy? It'* in St. Paul if you'd be interested in dragging the laptop with cable along (you can do OBDII can't you?)

Sold the SSEi because I couldn't afford to keep it and go to school. One week after I sold the SSEi I was called into the Supervisor'* office and I didn't know why -I've only been in there twice and both times were for interviews for other positions that I'd applied for -I hadn't applied for any lately so I was kinda worried. Turns out they have a new compensation plan at work, everyone is getting a raise, mine was a 20% increase in pay and everyone was getting a bonus check as a thank you for sticking around (they'd done a compensation survey of similar jobs in a local 5-state region and found they were way below average). My bonus is a few hundred dollars so I figure between what I'm getting now (work wages that will allow for a savings account rather than barely making it by), what my bonus is, what I have left from selling the SSEi, and the bonus, plus the insurance on the three cars I'm looking at (1996 SSEi, 1996 Riviera, and this 1998 Park Ultra -all under $4500) is about $100-130 less for 6 months than it was on the 1999 SSEi with a higher deductable. Plus, I'm thinking of letting Ashley take over Ol Blue since her Ford Aspire is kinda giving her problems and gets less mpg'* too (Aspire =22-24 mpg'* and Ol Blue =24-28 average without OD lockup which getting fixed Monday -so with OD lockup Ol Blue will get another 3-4 mpg'*).

Well, was kind of kidding, we'll see how my "Adventures in Body Work" go. Also, me and my dad fixed my car'* leaking door seals, but we have yet to clean the carpet. Been putting it off, so I'm *hopefully* gonna do that with him tomorrow. Hope the carpet is still saveable, looks to still be. We'll see. Wish me luck getting the thing back to 100%, or at least 90-95%
