Error Codes B1025 B1035 B1045 B1055
Got a real head scratcher. I have an 08 GMC Envoy. In the morning when vehicle is cool sitting in garage the buzzer for key and seatbelt will not work, the speakers for radio do not work, and sometimes the temp gauge will stay locked at 100 plus the AC switch in dash will not activate compressor. However, if truck sits in the sun for a couple of hours everything works fine most of time not always. Key buzzer comes on, radio speakers work, temp gauge shows properly, and AC switch engages compressor. I am aware that the buzzer comes through speakers so if speakers do not work buzzer won't come on. But one would think the temp gauge and AC switch should not be affected. As I mentioned this is all intermittent. I work for an auto parts company so I took the truck to one of our customer shops. The shop ran a computer scan and came back with codes B1025 B1035 B1045 and B1055 which all point to the radio. Again how does that affect temp gauge or dash AC switch? The shop said there may be some short in the radio or the body control module. They recommended taking it to the dealership. Before doing so I wanted to try here and see if anyone has ever encountered this issue or recommendations? Thanks

I appreciate the suggestion. The shop I took it to actually checked the fuses and said there was no issue there. When you say pull the fuse and see what happens, what am I looking for? Are you suggesting this would reset something?

I don't want you to check the radio fuse, I want you to pull it. I am thinking the only way an electrical issue internal to the radio could affect the temp gauge or AC switch is if that electrical issue is somehow bleeding out to surrounding components. By pulling the radio fuse you are isolating the radio from the vehicle'* electrical system. If you do that and the temp gauge and AC switch function normally, you know the problems are related to the radio.
Just a shot in the dark, but its all I can think of.
