Default Inspect your filters

Never trust an oil, fuel or whatever filter to be assembled properly from the factory. Always inspect them prior to installation!

A coworker of mine at work came across this filter prior to installing it in a $30,000 big truck engine.(which requires 3 oil filters)

Can you see what'* wrong?

Mack MP7 I think.

I'm not going to mention the brand of filter though.

good advice Mike about the filters, I always check a new air filter by holding it up to sunlight to look for pinholes.

I wonder how often a manufacturing defect may happen on these filters...
I wonder if ya complain loud enough if you might get a free case or two out of this deal!
