True Car Nut
Even worse! We had a serious crime in this area where the old boyfriend stole the victims car. The news (who one would hope would know better) said that they were looking for a blue Oldsmobile Bonneville No year given either.

I work at a Chevy dealership, we once had a women trade in her dead husbands vette, so told the salesman. " It is a newer Pontiac with a Corrvette engine, he painted it to match the vette color, from the one he used to have".It was a 95" vette with like 300k on it and was Orange, it would not hardley run.

There'* a well-known chase in Oklahoma where the cops (in Crown Victorias) were having a hard time keeping up with the suspect in a stolen car. They said it was a Cadillac Seville or DeVille, but eventually got it right: It was a '94-96 Impala SS kicking their butts. The helicopter had some trouble keeping up!
