I tested out the Bridgestone G009s today...
I don't have pictures... but I intentionally plowed a 3 ft pile of snow infront of the bonne today to see if it would get through it with the new tires. I had it parked in the lawn so I could clear the driveway. At first, I forgot to turn off the stupid e-brake and just kinda dug myself into a hole. Then I realized what I was doing, backed up, and then just drove casually through the snow pile (with tc off), with minimal wheel spin. It was great .
Earlier, I ran through an abandoned Lowes parking lot. It had a constant 6-8" of snow in it. I think the stuck *-10 that I passed was pissed. He was doing donuts and got stuck in this random valley lol. Looked like a stupid young kid, or I would have bothered to stop and help. I just kinda drove by nice and casual, didn't really dick around at all, just tapped the ebrake real quick once and drifted sideways so I knew how the car may feel if it did that on the road. The rims looked like a solid snowball lol.
These Bridgestone Potenza G009s do a lot better in the winter than the tread pattern makes them look. Very responsive and controllable in the icy/snowy conditions.
