Exclamation Error Code P0102...help!

Hey Everyone, New guy here and i have a problem with my 1999 Bonneville SE...( engine light on, and car is cutting off) long story short I took my baby to an auto mechanic and he hooked it up to a diagnostic machine the error codes are P0102 MAF Sensor malfunction, and P1811 the mechanic told me the 1st error was the most recent, the 2nd error was from awhile ago. He also told me I need to replace the MAF Sensor and it would cost over $300 ( parts and labor included) I dont have the money so I figured " I can fix this"...I ve been researching the web but I can't find a diagram of where the MAF Sensor is located, I have a pretty good Idea where its located now after popping the hood and looking around...so now my question is would a simple purchase of MAF Cleaner and spraying this on the wiring, will this resolve my issue, or must i really replace the MAF Sensor... thanks.

First thing is check the car for vac leaks. These tend to give strange error codes. Do this by spraying carb cleaner at each line connection as well as the EGR tube. If RPM goes up you have a leak. If you find no leaks then try cleaning the MAF with a MAF cleaner. After that lets see where we are.
