I have a hand-operated vacuum pump for diagnosing vacuum leaks and testing sensors that is advertised for bleeding brakes as well. I tried it for the first time this weekend on mine, and while it worked, it still left things a little spongy for my taste. With a friends help, we improved the brakes using the traditional two-person method.

Anyone else ever try this?
