Default Thinking of painting valve covers

Well, I think im gonna paint my valve covers. I would like to know how hard it would be to get them off of and out of my engine. After that i know how to clean them and then paint them. I could use a walk-through on how to take them off. The back looks especially hard to get off. Please let me know what ya think.

The front valve cover is pretty straight forward, you may have to remove the coil pack and plug wires.
The rear valve cover is tougher to get at but has the same bolt pattern/placement.
I had to remove the map sensor bracket, alternator, and loosed a few other brackets (varies from year to year but you'll see what needs to go).

Well, my engine is different than yours, but the front is very easy, you will be squeezing it in.. the big bracket thing, which you would use to hoist the engine out of gets in the way slightly, along with the oil dipstick. The rear valvecover needs removal of the EGR valve [your'* may not have one, but if it does, it will have it on the front of the engine, so you can skip that], along with removal of wires and crap.. but other than that, it was smooth sailing.
