I don't know for sure whether you're Boosty'* bookeeper or not, or his secretary that knows why he didn't answer the phone, but I'd tend to think a Moderator on another forum would have the common sense to post an accusation like this via PM to the topic author.

I'll leave it up to the topic author whether these two replies stay in his topic.

Pat, I will get in contact with Bill, but when he brought that */C with him when he stayed at my place back when he came for the PIF trans, I offered to pay, as we had worked out a price, and he told me not to worry about it.
If there isan issue, I'm not aware of it, and it could also have been brought up later that year during NEBF.
In the meantime, you also could have PMed me with the issue, rather than airing it publicly.

OK Pat is half right, there WAS a miscommunication or a misunderstanding on my part concerning the */C.
Bill, on the other hand, was apparently helping a friend move all weekend, which explains the lack of phone answerage.
Anyway, he got back to me, and as soon as my tax return comes in, I'll fire off a PayPal to him.

Great there was resolution, but you can only go by what you were told at the time.

Either way, a public slam like this is way out of place on this Forum. I hope nobody here has to go through it again like you did, Brian.

Pat and I usually get along OK, other than the H-body, G-body thing...
First time we've had a mis-step with each other, so, eh, screw it,
Pat, I'll get mine back by beating the pants off you at the NEBF track day...

It just so happens he CAN buy it locally

Todd, I'm aware of that, and told him so as well, the problem was it was a SUNDAY.

Last time I breezed by INTENSE on a Sunday, it was closed. He didn't want to wait for you, and wanted to find it locally that day if possible. I explained to him on the phone how you buy it in bulk and pass it on in small doses so you can pass on some savings to us poor bathturds.

This is what happens when some of the problem solving or troubleshooting happens 'offline'.

For those of you reading this, this is a classic example of why we discourage it. Not all the info was here in the topic. Unfortunately in this case, the circumstances demanded offline help due to the rush.

Brian is too damn impatient.

Yup, went to INTENSE yesterday and got the stuff, unfortunately, I'm still waiting for abolt to come in to the dealer...
The front idler had a chunk out of the rim, so I sent Sean up to get a new pulley from NAPA, and when he got back, he started right away into replacing it. He never got very far. Very stubborn bolt. Then it was a very broken bolt.
So, we call Dad to pick up a set of bolt extractors. As soon as he gets home with them, Sean goes out with the drill and very awkwardly(limited space) starts to drill the bolt...

...which starts to back out...

So...which way does a drill bit turn?
Left-hand thread FTL...only one in the state is in Cincinnati. Dealer will have it in tomorrow.
