92-93 = OBD1
94-95 = OBD1.5
96+ = OBD2
It'* an OBD1 PCM with OBD2 codes and connector.
Check this thread to figure out how to read the codes: http://www.bonnevilleclub.com/forum/...ht=actron+9145

According to the owner'* manual, the ECM fuse is in position #8 in the passenger side relay center. Has this scanner been used on your car in the past without any problems?

94 Bonneville...Help
Thanks for the reply Ted...I'm really not sure if it'* the same scanner, my neighbor did the testing, but in any event I ordered the Actron Cp9145 due in this wk.
Autozone tech used a cp9175 and it would not read...Another mechanic tried his very large snap-on scanner...still did not read....going to check that #8 fuse again....I'm the original owner of this vehicle and would like to keep it going...but something tells me the ecm is bad, no cruise control.....if you have any other ideas on this, I would be more than happy to hear...
Thx...gman

94 & 95 ECM'* are the most troublesome. If you don't want to wait for the scanner then you might want to get one from a junkyard. Make sure you can return it for cash if it doesn't fix your problem.
