Carpet cleaning!
Today I decided to rip the carpet out of the car and give it a good cleaning. It'* amazing what you can find under the center console and under the seats of a used car. Found a decent Casio calculator, a quarter, a pair of sunglasses and a receipt for the PO dated May 25 2001 in my hometown. No, I bought the car almost 3 years ago.
Sorry, didn't get pics of the seat removal. Center console was 2 nuts in the rear, and 2 bolts, and 2 screws in the front. Seats were 4 nuts each, and 2 big star bolts.
Here it is with no seats and no carpet...
Uh oh. Found a wet floor pan. I know where this is coming from...
Here is the dirty carpet...
I used my car wash brush that attaches to the hose. Has a built in liquid soap reservoir that I filled with laundry detergent.
Rinsed, and hanging on the kids swingset to dry in the wind and sun. Should be about 5 hours or so before its dry.
I'll post up pics when its dry to show the difference.
Questions?

Looks like a fun project! I had to unbolt the driver'* seat and pull up the carpeting in the Park Avenue to replace a faulty door lock relay a couple of months ago. Nice to have door locks that actually unlock again, lol!

It really wasn't all that hard to do. Kinda tedious I guess. A few common hand tools and all the seats were out. I didn't even have to pull any of the door jam trim pieces to get it out. It just pulled right out.

Taking carpet out to clean is always such a joy lol.
Sometimes when I do that I run it right up to the local car wash and use the pressure washer, works great
