92-99 Bonnies; peeling window switch bezels like LeSabre?
My 1998 LeSabre Limited has those window and seat control switch bezels that are thin metal (aluminum?) plates covered with a black plastic (vinyl?) with the words silk-screened in white (UP, DN, etc.).
Do your 92-99 Bonnevilles have the same?
If so, do you have the problem with the black plastic peeling off around the switches?
How did you deal with it...
Scour EBAY and salvage yards for replacements?
Peel it all off and leave the bezels bare metal (aluminum)?
Strip them and paint them black?
Get replacement silk-screened vinyl covers made?
Is there an aftermarket solution for this?
Thanks.

Oh well...
But are you familiar with the issue? It happens in every 92-99 LeSabre and Park Avenue I've seen.
I would prefer not to spend hundreds on replacements just for "cosmetics"...especially since it will likely just peel again.
So, do you think stripping or stripping/painting these bezels would be possible?
What about crazy ideas like coating these things in carbon fiber?
