Default aftermarket stereo'*

well i put in a deck today, anyhow i bought all the right harness'* and stuff, but the problem i have run into is that my climate control dosn't dim when the lights come on, it just stays it'* usual bright green color. anyone else have this problem and know the fix? thanks

Sorry, dumb question probably. I'm not an electrical expert, but what'* the worry about it not dimming? I'm going to add an aftermarket deck sometime, should I have to worry about this stuff? Thanks.

I haven't seen a 1994 with this problem.

yeah it is supposed to dim, but i guess i can put up with it, it just is really bright green at night, o'well guess it'* not that bad of a trade off for a cd.

It is supposed to dim just like your compass and your DIC. The above-referenced procedure solves the problem.

You can thank the engineers at GM for their clever design.
