bad electronic problem
Ok the curse of the white bonneville has got to me. When i hop in my car and put the key in the ignition and turn on but dont start it Some things dont turn on and all my gauges trip out and none of my digital stuff shows. Then my car wont start.. it my turn over for a second then make a ugly clank.... i turn it of and repeat the process a couple of times and it will start up and work like nothings wrong...... i leave it and go to start it up again and the same thing happens.... anyone had this problem before or know whats goin on......i got a damn ghost in my car

Could this be another case of dirty battery terminals/wires?
Try scrubbing the battery terminals with a wire brush. Then scrub all of the metal surfaces on the wire connectors. Scrub in-between each of the positive battery cables for a good connection. Scrub all metal surfaces down there.

Just in case the Fuddster wasn't clear enough on this .... Do both ends of the cables!! The chassis connections can get pretty grimy and lose connectivity. Learned this the hard way on a different vehicle.
