went to change taillight,
didn't know they changed it where you have to actually take the lamp all the way out to change a bulb what'* the reasoning for this?
PS. I never changed the bulb after that, just too much work

I really don't know the reason for this design. Maybe this design lends itself to being more water resistant. I know it can be a pita. Weren't the previous class Bonnevilles similar? I think they were, no?

only reason I can think of also,
1993'* right about changing out the center bulbs out of 92-95, the outer tails are easy though, 96-99 yea you do have to take out the center only reason I know this cause I was thinking of converting my rear end but trashed the idea.

tail lights
hah i actually just got pulled over for my tail lightr being out last night!! $54 fine! can you believe that? thats NJ for you.
the best part is that I actually had the replacement bulb right on my passenger seat too that i bought the day before!! I was going to replace the bulb tonight, but its a little rainy and crappy out -- and now that i know it isnt as simple as popping the new bulb in from the trunk compartment.. i'll let it wait for the weekend!!
