finally done
fornt valve cover gasket
rear " '
spark plugs
wires
and a new plastic elbow for the tensioner/belt
yea I broke the elbow and it was a saturday and the only thing I could find was the whole tensioner and elbos 79.00. for a plastic elbow.
it rides 100 percent better. when I grabbed the #6 plug wire it was totally snapped off the sparkplug rubber end. I was on 5 cylnders. I just got the car so I didnt notice the loss of power because I never had it. thnks for all the help guys.

Glad you got it fixed. The same thing happened to my car, except it was the number 3 plug wire that was gone. Idled fine, full throttle fine, but moderate throttle shook my teeth out.
Where did you get your coolent elbows? I've always been able to get just the elbows and have never had to buy the entire tensioner with them. I know at NAPA and Autozone you can get the elbows by themselves. But, good move replacing them anyway. They're failure prone and are really a big PITA when you've got coolent leaking out of them all over the belt, making the belt squeel like a dead pig.
