The reflex is supposed to be the better "performance" strut.

Glad you got the postive cable tightened down. I was 99.9% sure this was your problem (speaking from experience, ya know
Once again you are the man!!!

This is a little off topic but I wanna say that I was kinda scarred when I first bought this car, because my mechanic told me that american cars are crap and are always breaking down. I think he'* wrong. These are great cars, and the problems, if any, are easily fixable. I already drove on fairly long trips with no problems and the gas mileage is better than my old car (1994 Lexus GS300)....not to mention that it would spank my old car in a race(haha). I guess I just wanna say I love my new car and this forum full of bonneville enthusiasts!

Just helpin' out.

Glad you like your Bonne. The problems are (almost) always fixable. Some probelms do require some pretty deep mechanical or electrical knowhow, but many can be corrected with basic knowledge, and the help of some friendly, fellow, Bonneville owners. If you really want to understand what is happening with your car the Factory Service Manuals (FSMs) are the only way to go. They are usually avilable on e-bay for under $50 shipped to your door.

(Another off-topic...I read in another post that you are in Southern California. I get over that way once-a-while. Next time I go, maybe we can meet up!)
